Prayers For Those Who Care
Tomorrow is the 2nd anniversary of Mom's diagnosis with pancreatic cancer, so I ask each of you to say a prayer for the families who are living with the challenges of this dreadful disease. It absolutely sucks! Spouses, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters, close friends or partners are all living on a couch or a floor, sleeping when they can, eating on the run, juggling too many challenges - all just weeks before Christmas - which can't help but have an impact on their jobs, their pocketbooks, their families, and their sense of wellbeing. There is no humor left, just a lot of fatigue.
The caregivers are often the second victim of this disease -- there's just not a lot left to rebuild from at about the same time as the reality of your loss hits home. Please join me in praying for these faithful, loving angels.
