Fleet Landing Names Development Director

Fleet Landing, a world-class, accredited continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Atlantic Beach, Florida, today announced that Jace (Christovich) Dobrowolski has been hired to manage development and fundraising activities for the organization.

Ms. Dobrowolski, a Jacksonville native, is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and a seasoned marketing and development practitioner with over 27 years of experience. She recently relocated back to Jacksonville Beach after two decades in Louisiana where her most recent professional experience includes serving as Development Director and then Director of Marketing for a major Louisiana healthcare conglomerate, General Health System, and previous employment as Vice President of Communications & Community Relations with the Greater Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce.

According to Fleet Landing CEO John Meserve, “Jace’s vast fundraising, program development, marketing and community relations experience makes her the ideal candidate to define opportunities for community partnerships, corporate gifts, grant funding and personal bequests that will bring a new margin of service and excellence to Fleet Landing.”

Fleet Landing will break ground on additional residences and a new community center in late 2006, providing expanded services and benefits to current residents and new residential housing opportunities to those interested in calling Fleet Landing home. Located just blocks from the Atlantic Ocean with convenient access to the many amenities of the Beaches and the Greater Jacksonville area, Fleet Landing first opened its doors in December of 1989 as a military retiree community offering lifetime independent and assisted living residency to those retiring from military service. Today, Fleet Landing is open to financially qualified applicants with or without military affiliation and offers expanded services that include assisted living, skilled nursing and Alzheimer's care to both residents and qualified non-residents, space permitting.
